A Newbie’s View: Superman and Wonder Woman

By now, most comic book fans have heard that Superman and Lois Lane are no longer the “it” couple of DC Comics. Replacing the famous reporter is none other than the Amazonian Princess, Wonder Woman. I’ve heard that the two have dated briefly in the past, but it was nothing like what he had in the story lines with Lois. Looking at this from a newbies stand point, I’m excited to see where this goes, because I think the characters compliment each other nicely.

A Look Back at My First Experiences in the Comic Book World

As the DC Comics New 52 Justice League and Justice League International Volume 1 are released, I’ve been looking back at my first experiences in the comic book world. Since January, a few of my articles ended up on DC Comics Facebook page, I met both Tony Bedard and Dan Didio, and I made a new comic book friend in Bill McCray. DC New 52: A Newbie’s Point of View

When DC announced their new 52 series, I was ecstatic. I have always wanted to get into reading the Superman, Batman, and the Justice League comics. What scared me out of getting into it was all the history I didn’t know. The new 52 gave me what I was looking for…a fresh start with all my favorite comic book characters. I would like to think I know a lot about Batman and the others, but the truth is I am a complete newbie to their comic book worlds.
