The Dragon Warrior. This legendary martial artist appears in the most unlikely form: a rotund Panda Bear who loves to eat, named Po. The Kung Fu Panda movies combine great animation with generous helpings of comedy, action, and heart. Kung Fu Panda 4 is now available to watch at home, and to herald its arrival, a large box just appeared at my house…
What could be inside? Why, all sorts of goodies…
First off, there’s a Kung Fu Panda t-shirt featuring Po. I’m looking forward to wearing it, but it did get just a skooch wrinkled during transit…
There are three plushies, including Po, his adoptive dad, and new character Zhen.
This one is one of my favorites. It’s a little plastic steamed Dim Sum container:
Inside the container is a stress ball, that looks just like a steamed pork bun…one of Po’s favorite foods!
There’s a bunch more stuff in the box, including a dragon kite, a puzzle, a book, an action figure with chopping action, and a poster calendar. All in all, just about something for everyone in a family!
Here’s the plot of Kung Fu Panda 4:
Emmy winner and Golden Globe® nominee Jack Black returns as Po, the world’s most unlikely kung fu master, in this butt-kicking new chapter from DreamWorks Animation’s beloved action-comedy franchise: KUNG FU PANDA 4. After learning he must find a new hero to take over as Dragon Warrior so that he may fulfill his destiny as the next spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace, Po decides to take one last adventurous mission. He teams up with a quick-witted thief named Zhen, voiced by Awkwafina, a corsac fox, to discover the truth about recent sightings of villains he’s defeated in the past. In a journey that puts both to the test, it will take a wicked, powerful sorceress, The Chameleon, voiced by Oscar® winner Viola Davis, to bring them together and remind Po that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.
You can now buy or rent Kung Fu Panda 4 on digital. If you purchase from participating retailers nationwide including Apple, Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu), Comcast Xfinity, Cox, and Verizon, you will also receive the never-before-seen animated short Dueling Dumplings.
