Luke Skywalker Boots by Po-Zu, Image: Po-Zu
Rejoice, Luke Skywalker cosplayers everywhere! To celebrate #MayTheFourthBeWithYou, shoe manufacturer Po-Zu has added a screen-accurate Luke Skywalker boot to its Star Wars collection.
The Skywalker Boot is the latest in Po-Zu’s wide range of official Star Wars shoes, sneakers, and boots. Since I covered the range last year, they have added several new designs, including Porg sneakers and Han Solo sneakers featuring the iconic Corellian Bloodstripe along the sides. The Skywalker Boot is the first screen-accurate replica the company has announced since the Rey Hi-Boot released for The Last Jedi.
The Skywalker Boot is also somewhat unique because it can be split into two parts and worn in two different ways. The design features an elasticated gaiter which can be removed to convert the boot into an ankle boot. The ankle boot looks more screen-accurate than the complete boot to me because in pictures of Luke from The Last Jedi, he appears to have fabric wraps around his lower legs rather than this being a part of his footwear.
The Skywalker Boot is currently available to pre-order for £225/$300 and, if the popularity of the Rey Boots among the cosplay community is anything to go by, I expect it to be snapped up quickly despite the high price tag.
