Syncwire Charger/Adaptor
Recommended By: Sophie Brown
For: Teens and older
Approximate Cost: $18
Buy It From: Amazon
OK, this isn’t the most exciting of Christmas gifts, but in terms of practicality, nothing beats it. Not even socks. The Syncwire charger and adaptor is a simple plug-in charger with four USB ports (two 1A, two 2.4A) which will allow you to charge multiple devices at once from a single socket. It also doubles up as a travel adaptor so it can plug directly into U.S., British, and European style sockets without any extra parts. This is the perfect stocking filler for anyone who is permanently surrounded by their devices and who needs to charge many things at once.

Mediflow Floating Comfort Pillow
Recommended By: Dakster Sullivan
For: Elementary, Teens, and Adults
Approximate Cost: $46
Buy It From: Amazon
A new take on the pillow with a water base topped with a fiberfill pillow to give you the feeling of floating. You can adjust the firmness just by adding or removing water.

T-Mobile SyncUP DRIVE
Recommended By: Ruth Suehle
For: Adults
Approximate Cost: $48
Buy It From: T-Mobile
You don’t want to buy a car with built-in wifi, but that sounds like a nice feature? T-Mobile’s SyncUP DRIVE takes care of that. You can connect five devices on its network. And if you have teenage drivers, you can use it to track driving behavior and location. (That means you can also use it yourself to remember where you parked!)

Sudio Vasa Bla Earbuds
Recommended By: Karen Walsh
For: Adults
Approximate Cost: $80
Buy It From: Amazon
As someone with a mobile work lifestyle, I love that I can transition back and forth between my phone and laptop with these. Most bluetooth connections are just one device at a time. The Sudio Vasa Bla is my favorite earbud because I can be working on my laptop listening to music from there through WiFi and then transition right over to my phone if a call comes in.

Instant Pot
Recommended By: Nivi Engineer
For: Teens and older
Approximate Cost: $100
Buy It From: Amazon
Not to join the cult (though they are an enthusiastic bunch), but because it can make life more convenient. There are things it does rather well, and…oh, who am I kidding? Someone on your shopping list desperately wants one of these (or a second one of these). Just wait for the sale and get it. It’s like the Home Chef’s Playstation. Let the games begin already.

Wonderboom Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
Recommended By: Sophie Brown
For: Teens and older
Approximate Cost: $100
Buy It From: Amazon
The Wonderboom is a lightweight Bluetooth speaker that packs incredible sound into its small size. Available in six colors, the speakers are fully waterproof and can be linked together for even more intense sound. The battery life and Bluetooth range are impressive, but the sound quality is the biggest selling point here and it is phenomenal. At $100 this isn’t the cheapest speaker on the market, but having used cheap speakers for the last year or so, the improvement in sound quality from the Wonderboom is off the charts. The perfect gift for any music fan.

Nixplay Iris Digital Photo Frame
Recommended By: Jenny Bristol
For: Adults
Approximate Cost: $190
Buy It From: Amazon
It’s easier than ever to share photos with friends and family with this wi-fi-enabled photo frame. It’s super easy to set up, comes with a remote control, and allows you to add friends to your network—friends who can send photos directly to your frame, sharing photos of their trips, babies, or fancy lunches. It’s also simple to send photos to it directly from your phone using the Nixplay app. You can set the frame to only turn on when there is motion in the room, or to only be on during certain hours. It also includes 10GB of free cloud storage!

Foot & Calf Shiatsu Massager
Recommended By: Nivi Engineer
For: Teens and older
Approximate Cost: $200
Buy It From: Amazon
We’re always on the go, and feet get tired. Can’t always go out for a pedicure, but it’s always a good idea to take care of your feet.

Silhouette Cameo 3
Recommended By: Ruth Suehle
For: Teens and older
Approximate Cost: $250
Buy It From: Amazon
If you like to make things, throw parties, or customize anything, you need a cutting machine. I’ve had several of the Silhouette line of products, and the Cameo 3 is the best yet. Its autoblade system takes a lot of the guesswork out, and the software is easy to use. You can make papercrafts, cut vinyl, make t-shirt vinyl transfers, create stencils, and all sorts of other things that require cutting!
Sensel Morph
Recommended By: Dakster Sullivan
For: Teens and Up
Approximate Cost: $300 + $35 Per Overlay
Buy It From: Sensel
Sensel Morph transforms to your work with overlays that work for video editing, gaming, writing, music production, and many others. For the developers, there’s also a blank canvas you can use to prototype and create your own overlay. Sensel helps you work smarter not harder on your projects.
