We are newly minted dog people around here, we just got our rescue maltipoo, Hamilton, in December. And now we’re obsessed with all things dog. This is the first year I’ve paid attention to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. And this week while checking out the best of breed festivities, we played with Lego Friends’ new puppy sets. Hamilton wanted in, too.
Lego just released five new Friends sets featuring their dog minifigs:
All of the sets are under $20, and two of them are $5, which makes me way more inclined to throw one in my cart at Target and add to our growing Lego collection. We played with the Puppy Parade and Puppy Treats and Tricks sets, and my almost-five-year-old daughter loved the dogs. She’s just been getting into the Friends sets, their airplane kit is becoming a regular in her playroom. And she loves watching Lego Friends on Netflix. So these were great little kits to put together on a cold afternoon, and now she has a couple of puppy minifigs to work into her Lego play. She’s thrilled, these are great small additions to the Friends line.
