Are you a fan of the 999 happy haunts from Disney’s The Haunted Mansion? Or perhaps of the Wednesday series on Netflix? If so, then you’re going to be very happy to hear about Lowe’s upcoming online drop of Halloween offerings.
Ever since I reviewed the 12ft Animated Scarecrow from Lowe’s, I’ve been looking forward to more props hitting their stores. Now, they have a whole new slew of animatronics and decorations on the way. Here are just a few highlights:
This life-sized animatronic features some killer dance moves. Spirited surf music syncs with Wednesday’s groovy “side-to-side swinging-arms” dance motion upon activation. Wednesday retails for $249 and can be found here.
This life-size animatronic plays “Grim Grinning Ghosts” and sings. The headless knight’s mouth movement is synced to the music. He retails for $299 and can be found here.
One of this Halloween’s most popular items, the Kraken decoration sold out when it was first released online, but is making its return appearance with the August drop. The eyes and tentacles light up, and this groundbreaker prop has a staking system included for setup. It retails for $199 and can be found here.
If you’re picking up Wednesday, why not also grab her cousin? Cousin Itt plays the theme to The Addams Family as this furry family member bobs to the music. Cousin Itt retails for $199 and can be found here.
There’s much more from Wednesday and The Haunted Mansion, like Thing holding a lightbulb or a musical Haunted Mansion wall plaque. You can see those and other Halloween decor here:
These Halloween decorations will go live on the Lowe’s website sometime later this month or early September, though some, like the Kraken, may be available now. If you’re viewing an item and the listings says, “This item is no longer sold on Lowes.com”, don’t worry. That just means that sales haven’t opened for those particular items yet, so be sure to check back.
And also be sure to check back here on GeekDad for my ongoing “Highway to Halloween” series, where I’ll be reviewing more great Halloween decorations from Lowe’s and other companies over the next few months!
