Geek Culture Conventions
The highlight of this week’s Convention Connection is the ACE Comic Con Midwest 2018 that runs from Friday, October 12 through Sunday, October 14 in Chicago, Illinois. The event includes a number of celebrity guests from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who television series, professional wrestlers, creator guests like Donny Cates, exhibitors and vendors, panels, and more. After hours entertainment includes live comedy shows on Friday evening and the cosplay contest on Saturday evening. All of this is set on Chicago’s historic Navy Pier.
