Barnes & Noble Is Making Your Yule Ball Dreams Come True

Barnes & Noble stores are adding even more magic to the most magical time of the year by hosting Yule Ball events nationwide! On December 9, 2016, stores will be celebrating all things Potter with special crafts, games, and activities for Muggles of all ages in an event inspired by the Yule Ball held in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Festivities begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, and the bookstore chain promises dancing (it is a holiday ball, after all), crafts, coloring, photo-ops, and giveaways.

Costumes are encouraged, but don’t worry: you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get Hogwarts robes for the kids on time. All it takes is just a few items to make some Hogwarts robes in a pinch.

If your kids are looking for dress robes, you can put a frilly shirt under a maroon or brown T-shirt “robe” to pay a last-second homage to Ron Weasley.
