This summer you can find a prized Pokéball near you–and I’m not talking about the ones in Pokémon Go. The Play Nintendo Tour is making its way across the country to various malls and events to bring you some of the company’s best games, prizes, and photo opportunities.
If your kids are fans of Mario, Kirby, Yoshi, and Nintendo’s other famous faces, they’ll love everything about the tour setup. From giant Yoshi eggs to a mechanical tree from Kirby: Planet Robobot, there are a lot of great places to snap a selfie or family photo. (Don’t miss that giant Pokéball, either!)
You can also get a glimpse of some of the new Nintendo-themed shoes and backpacks from Vans. If you’ve only seen them online, be sure to take a peek–although you might find yourself heading to the Vans store afterward.
You and your kids will have a chance to play a variety of games for the Nintendo 3Ds and complete a passport to win a prize by answering trivia questions afterward. On the Play Nintendo Tour, you can give the following 3DS games a spin:
Unfortunately, when we stopped by the tour, the apologetic staff had been out of passports for some time. The helpers did their best for the disappointed kids (thanks, Anna!), but we didn’t get a chance to win a prize.
When the tour swings by your town, complete the passport to try your hand at the claw machine filled with Nintendo themed plushies.
The Play Nintendo Tour runs through the end of summer in the U.S. Stop by if you love all things Nintendo!
