Vote for the ‘I Am Amelia Earhart’ LEGO Set

LEGO Ideas Submission, Image/Project Credit: Ellen Kooijman

We’re fans of the “Ordinary People Change the World” book series by Brad Meltzer and Chris Eliopoulos here at GeekMom and GeekDad. So it’s no surprise that we’re also fans of the new LEGO Ideas project currently up for community voting, I Am Amelia Earhart.

The project was submitted by Alatariel, AKA Ellen Kooijman, who also successfully created and submitted the Big Bang Theory LEGO set that’s now available to purchase. With 186 pieces and an adorable Amelia Earhart minifig, you and your kids can build her plane “Canary” together if the idea receives enough votes and official approval.

I Am Amelia Earhart, written by Brad Meltzer with art by Chris Eliopoulos, encourages kids to work hard and chase their dreams no matter what others say.

Share Amelia’s story and spirit by supporting the LEGO Ideas project! All you need to do is register on the site to vote. Over 2000 people have voted for the set, and 5000 supporters are needed to reach the next milestone.
