Cookie Monster Spoofs The Lord of the Rings

Sesame Street‘s series on delaying gratification continues in a Lord of the Rings parody, which comes just days before the much-anticipated release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Cookie Monster, starring as “Gobble,” is on a quest to reclaim the legendary chocolate cookie recipe, “me precious,” and restore Monster Earth. Will he be able to keep himself from eating those cookies?

The send-up follows on the heels of The Hungry Games: Catching Fur, in which Cookie Monster appears as Cookieness Everaet.
