Watching doctoral students interpret their dissertations in dance actually makes dense topics easier to understand. But they aren’t doing it for us. They’ve entered this year’s Dance Your PhD competition. Thirty-one entries in physics, chemistry, biology, and social science have been narrowed down to 12 finalists. Vote for your favorites at the American Association for the Advancement of Science site. One lucky winner will be announced Thursday, November 21st.
Here are a few of the 12 finalists.
Biology: Mood and addiction.
Chemistry: Can I make a drug?
Physics: Energy based fatigue.
Social Sciences: Moving choices.
