Send Us Your Best Geek Chic Fashion Photos for a Chance to be Featured on GeekMom!

The controversial Marissa Mayer has her first profile as Yahoo CEO in the September issue of Vogue. It’s accompanied by a two-page photo spread that’s generated a lot of talk the past week or two, mainly about her professionalism. But what caught my eye in the undisputed fashion bible’s biggest annual issue was their description of Mayer as an “unusually stylish geek.” The piece even mentions “the paradox of being both glamorous and a geek.”

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Back those judgy Louboutins right up, Vogue.

I’m not sure where the article’s author, Jacob Weisberg, is meeting his geeks, but we’re a little taken aback by those characterizations.  At GeekMom we know some pretty fabulously dressed geeks (we are some pretty fabulously dressed geeks), and we want to prove it.

So send us photos of your best outfit, whether it’s everyday geek chic, super glam, even fabulously fashionable cosplay. Send them to geekmom@jackiereeve.com by Wednesday, September 4th, and we’ll run some of our favorites here after the submission deadline passes.
