Who remembers this amazing documentary series airing in the early 1980s, hosted by Carl Sagan? I remember watching Cosmos: A Personal Voyage reruns with my father, but I have to admit I don’t remember the details. It was a 13-part series that aired on Public Broadcasting Service, and is still among PBS’s top watched programs.
Who else is as excited about the return of this fantastic series as me? For 2014, the Fox network will air a revival of the series. It will air in a similar format, as a 13-part documentary series hosted by America’s favorite astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson.
I may have to get my hands on the original series DVD and share it with my geeklings before this new series airs early next year.
