Well, I’m not exactly the one who can dock her phone on her prosthetic leg, but this week I found this link, to an article about a guy who is giving me grand ideas. He worked with the big dogs at Nokia, and his prosthetist, and ended up with an artificial arm that charges his phone. Even more than that, it docks his phone and he can text while it’s still attached to his body.
There are not many times when able bodied people can be jealous of those of us who walk around with prosthetics. But this just might be one of those times.
Now excuse me as I go call my leg guy and see what he can rig up on my left calf….
