This Fantasy Interlude Brought To You By GeekMom

Of course you’re enjoying a stress free, completely uncrazed holiday season while your butler tends to all of life’s nagging little details.

You’re probably lounging around reading that trashy novel, trying to decide whether to nosh on bon bons or order your chef to whip up something a little more substantial. Caviar on toast points, perhaps.

But remember, balance is essential. You know how boring relaxation gets day after languid day. Go ahead, throw an impromptu party tonight. It’s easy thanks to hints in Amy Sedaris’ book I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence. Those hints are so helpful they include the particulars of entertaining lumberjacks.

So give your household staff the night off this evening. Besides, you don’t want those starched aprons watching your pals compete to win multiple rounds of margarita stacking. But first, go back to that restful bliss you were enjoying. Maybe even get in a little nap. You need to be fresh for this evening’s soirée.
