The Power of Self: Posters for Girls

Image: Amanda Vissell

Boing Boing points us to some excellent posters by artist Amanda Vissell, promoting girls and the fact that we can do anything we want to do and be whatever we want to be. The artwork is both cute and clever, and shows four different sides of the power of being your own person.

Some people (who shall remain nameless) feel that the maverick poster reminds them of Sarah Palin, but I much prefer to think of it more in relation to Top Gun, especially because of the jet plane.

The posters are available for purchase for $30 each, or all four for $100.
