Geeklings Now Have Nighttime Companions With ThinkGeek’s Geek Kids Bed Sheets!

Photo: ThinkGeek

I knew I would love the ThinkGeek Geek Kids Bed Sheets, but wow, they have blown me away. You’d expect robots and aliens and such, but these sheets go beyond expectations and include such things as (and this is just a sampling): Timmy (of course!), dinosaurs, astronauts, geeky girls (!), zombies, unicorns, ninjas, pirates, and even bacon! Yes, bacon. All of these creatures (yes, even the bacon) say something in a little speech bubble. Also, surrounding the creatures (and bacon) are plenty of geeky symbols, such as gears, test tubes, planets, bunnies, and treasure maps. Everything is quite colorful, so your geeklings will really enjoy spending time studying the creatures, and perhaps planning pretend battles and alliances among them.

Now, if they’d only make them in king size. I’d totally have these on my bed. Include a duvet cover, too!

The sheets are pretty standard construction for children’s sheets. They are 200 thread count, 60% cotton, 40% polyester, and are made in Karachi, Pakistan. In the package you get one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two standard pillowcases. This is especially nice and unusual, because in my experience twin sheet sets come with only one pillowcase. The second one is perfect for a second pillow or for a jealous sibling (or parent).

The sheets wash up really nicely and the fitted sheet has plenty of elastic to hold it in place. My kids will be fighting over these sheets for many years to come.

I can only imagine how much fun ThinkGeek had while putting these sheets together. Wish I’d been able to be a part of it!
