Convention Connection: Geek Culture Conventions for Week 51 2018

Looking for a geek culture convention to attend this weekend? I hope you have your passport ready. Here at GeekDad, we’re aware of exactly two geek culture conventions taking place this pre-holiday weekend.

First up is Comic Fiesta 2018, held Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event heavily features cosplay and art, particularly anime and Asian-themed. The weekend’s other event is Rainbow Gala 2018 on Sunday, December 23 in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. It too leans heavily toward anime-inspired cosplay and art.

And… that’s it.

I know, it’s not exactly prime convention season right now, but we’ll have a few more offerings for you next week in the final Convention Connection of 2018.
