The day before Thanksgiving, as the family was baking pies and cleaning house, I brought up a stack of picture books. A few of us picked a book to read on camera while the rest listened and enjoyed good (and silly) stories with bright, colorful art. We were all a bit tired from the day’s activities, and having fun with picture books was the perfect way for everyone to relax. You can watch these with your child to see if there is a book you might want to add to your own collection, or simply watch my family enjoy the read-aloud.
