I thought I was going to be one of those moms. The mom that makes the cool lunch with the awesomely geeky themed food items. I know, my kid is only 1 year old, so it’s not like it matters that much if she gets dinosaur sandwiches. I’m a creative person. I have whole sections of Pinterest clogged up with nerdy foods and recipes for nerdy foods. But this week for day care I shoved snack after snack into a lunchbox single-handedly (get it?) because somebody was “mumumumumumumum”-ing and wouldn’t let me put her down.
Turns out, I’m not the only one who chucked a lunchbox together this week. (Thanks for the hashtag, Karen! And the comic inspiration. And for being awesome.) It makes me feel okay about the whole thing. Wanna join the #WorldsOkayestMom club? We’re pretty okay.
