‘Circuit Maze’: An Electric Current Logic Game

I don’t know about you guys, but I love ThinkFun’s one-player logic games. My children never tire of Laser Maze and Gravity Maze… and my husband and I love to play, too!

So when I heard that ThinkFun had released a new one-player logic game called Circuit Maze, I had to check it out!

My game-lovin’ family received ThinkFun’s new Circuit Maze at no cost in exchange for a review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I only choose to review products that I would use with my own family and our family loves ThinkFun.

Board games are an important part of our homeschool curriculum. As a homeschooling mom, I am constantly on the hunt for educational games to add to our collection.

Circuit Maze: A One-Player Electric Current Logic Game

If your family loves ThinkFun’s  Laser Maze and Gravity Mazethey are guaranteed to love Circuit Maze… and they will catch on in a snap because the games are so similar!

Just as in Laser Maze and Gravity Maze, Circuit Maze is a one-player logic game designed for ages 8 and up. The game is played on a grid and includes 60 challenge cards of increasing difficulty. Challenges are outlined on one side and the reverse side has the answers. The goal is to place tokens on the grid, according to challenge card criteria and create a working circuit. When you complete the challenge correctly, the tokens light up as you can see here:

Here you can see him working on a trickier challenge:

What this mom loves about Circuit Maze:

Here are just a few reasons why Circuit Maze has quickly become a new favorite:

  • This game is easy to learn and challenging to master.
  • Children and adults enjoy playing.
  • Circuit Maze works on those logic skills!
  • The game requires no setup and cleans up in seconds.
  • Circuit Maze is a fantastic way to get some much-needed quiet time!
  • This is not a game that you will outgrow quickly–it’s quite challenging!

My 8-year-old loved this game! I did not hear a peep from him for well over an hour! He delighted in the challenge that the game offered him and has played it many times since it arrived on our doorstep. It is definitely a new family favorite and we would highly recommend it!
