The Powerocks Tarot: Portable Power That Fits in Your Wallet

There’s a careful balance to be struck between power and bulk when it comes to portable batteries, and the Powerocks Tarot is designed to manage both. This 1500 mAh battery provides a nice boost of emergency juice and is lightweight and slim enough to slip into your wallet or clutch.

Coming in at just 1.79 ounces, you won’t even know you’re carrying it, so it’s the perfect battery to have on you all the time, just in case. Part of the weight reduction comes from the sleek-looking housing which is made from lightweight aluminum.

It’s overall dimensions are only 3.5″ x 2.1″ x .28″ so it’s not just lightweight, but incredibly small. That’s not a typo. The Powerocks Tarot is only .28″ thick so it really will fit inside of a wallet, wristlet or even your pants pocket.

There are LED indicators on the top of the battery so you know how much juice is left and it comes in a drawstring bag with a USB to micro USB cable for recharging the battery and charging drained devices. There’s even a separate pouch inside the bag that will hold your cable, so things don’t come out in a tangled mess. This is great for storing your battery or if you want to toss it into a larger bag or tote.

There is a tradeoff for the slim, lightweight design, though, and that’s less power than other batteries on the market. At 1500mAh, you’ll only be able to charge the average smartphone once, so if you constantly need to recharge your phone and find you’re often running through more than one charge a day, this might not be the best choice.

Still, that’s not really what the Powerocks Tarot is all about. It’s designed to be the kind of small, lightweight battery that you can carry with you all the time so when you suddenly run through the charge on your phone you’re not dead in the water.

You also can’t beat the price. Larger batteries can run over $100, but the Powerocks Tarot is a very affordable $34.99 making it a fantastic solution for your charging needs.
