LA Femme Film Festival: Taking Submissions Now

Are you an aspiring filmmaker? Do you work with a woman in a leading film position? If you meet these conditions, then the LA Femme Film Festival might be for you. The call for submissions is currently ongoing, and now is your chance to be part of this annual celebration of female cinema.

The LA Femme Film Festival is a celebration of women in film–not just in front of the screen, but also the creative energy behind it. Join in on the festivities on October 11-17, 2013 in Hollywood, and act soon if you feel you have a piece worth submitting. You don’t have to be a woman to submit a film, but a female is required to be in a leadership role: writer, director, or producer.

Visit LAFemme.org or Withoutabox.com for more detailed information. Early bird submissions are due by May 16th to their submissions website, but submissions can be accepted as late as August 23rd. The costs for submissions increase with time, so don’t procrastinate.

Do you think you might have something to submit? Drop us a hint in the comments section below!
