Hallmark’s Bell Interactive Story Buddy Is Adorable Fun

Hallmark introduced us to the Jingle The Husky Pup Interactive Story Buddy last Christmas, and now they’ve given him a pal named Bell. She’s the new puppy in town and she’s made to feel right at home by good old Jingle.

As with the other Story Buddy stuffed animals, Bell is an interactive toy that responds as you or your child reads aloud from one of her storybooks. You buy Bell with her first book, Bell’s Big Move, which introduces this cute character and tells the story of her move to Pineville.

You can separately purchase the Christmas Star book which is great for kids who already have Jingle. As you read through that story, both animals will respond. It’s also available as a DVD that fans of Jingle and Bell are sure to love.

Bell also comes with a read-along CD and features a free downloadable app for the iPad that let’s kids engage even further with the story. Bell responds as the narrator reads or when kids tap objects on the screen so it’s a great way to get kids excited about reading.

My kids fell in love with the Story Buddies last year and were thrilled when they found out Jingle was getting a friend. A year of hugging and loving and Jingle is still one of my daughter’s favorites who has to be with her in bed every night. All I’ve done is replace the two AA batteries that make him talk and he’s still good as new.
