Archaeologists of Shadows

This steampunk-style graphic novel takes place in a world where every living thing is slowly transforming into a mechanical being. Those who resist the change are punished harshly by the authorities and they hunt down anyone who dares to go against what they believe is the will of the gods. The world’s only hope to stop this mechanization is finding the gods themselves for answers.

Our two heroes  Baltimo and Alix, only know one thing…they don’t want to become 100% mechanical and their bodies are naturally resisting the change. When a stranger offers them information to escape the mechanical transformation, Baltimo and Alix take a leap of faith and leave on an adventure to seek out the Archaeologists.

Unbeknownst to them, there is far more going on than they could even begin to imagine.

I’ve read through volume one and two and I can’t wait to see what happens to our heroes. This story has everything I look for in a graphic novel. Mystery, suspense, action, humor and artwork that is easy to follow as well as look at. I would love to tell you more, but this story really needs to be experienced not just for its storyline, but also its beautiful artwork.
