The GeekMom pony has her name, and it’s Curiosity Cientifica!
We realized after the post went live that all ponies have two names, so we decided that the reader who has given Curiosity her first name is the winner of a GeekMom t-shirt! Thank you to everyone that submitted. We had some great suggestions with real meaning and heart behind them. I’m really happy with her final name because I think it fits her mission and it’s a nice nod to a major event that happened the year she was created.
For those who were wondering about her lack of cutie mark, now that we have her name, that will soon be fixed by a GeekMom with a little more artistry than myself.
Curiosity Cientifica will be making her convention debut next week at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida. Once she is done exploring the dark side, Curiosity will be on her way to Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia. If you see a GeekMom at either convention, please stop and say hi!
