Star Wars Week: Han Solo In Carbonite…With an iPhone?

Han Solo in carbonite Photo By: Dakster

Yup, you read that right. Han Solo in carbonite with an iPhone. I don’t remember Han having an iPhone in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, but you never know…Lucas could add it in a future release. This is the latest design from iCaseSeraSera on Etsy. A variation of his Han Solo in Carbonite design, this one is sure to make some of your friends giggle and then ask you where they can get theirs.

The case is seems pretty standard to me and has all the openings needed for the buttons the on iPhone. It snaps on to the phone, so losing the case is not a problem. The really neat part about this case is not the actual case, but the artwork on it.

Even though it looks as if Han is reaching out, the image is not 3D embossed. The high resolution photograph is printed in a home studio in Massachusetts and placed on your choice of color iPhone cases (black, white or clear). The process is kind of neat and includes printing, adhering, heating and cooling, all to get that great and durable look. For around $18, you can’t beat the quality that comes with the Han grooving in carbonite.

Now if only we could get Jar Jar and the those pesky Ewoks permanently incased in carbonite…
