To Kill a Mockingbird, often considered one of the best novels of all time, is marking the 50th anniversary of the film version this year. President Obama hosted a special screening of the movie at the White House on April 5, stating that the novel is a “timeless American classic and one of his favorite books.”
President Obama is also introducing a special presentation of To Kill a Mockingbird tonight on the USA Network. If you or your family have never seen the film, or if it’s been years since you last saw this classic, tonight is a great chance to catch it. USA plans to air To Kill a Mockingbird with limited commercials beginning at 8:00/7:00 CDT.
I’m still a fan of the Viggle app I reviewed a few weeks ago, and if you check in during the film, ViggleLIVE will share movie trivia and content, chances to earn extra points, and more. According to USA Network:
In addition, USA will match the amount of points earned by fans who check in during the broadcast and will make a donation to our Characters Unite nonprofit partners championing civil and human rights. Fans can also use their Viggle points to earn rewards or make a donation to the charities of their choice in the Viggle app rewards section.
So tune in tonight to catch a fantastic, timeless film and even do a good deed just by checking in with the free Viggle app.
