I’ve been wearing my Phiaton: CURVE BT for over a week now and loving them. My go-to headphones used to be my Apple AirPods, but because of battery life, the Phiaton headphones have replaced them.

Features of the Phiaton: CURVE BT 120 NC

  • Bluetooth® 4.2 & RightFit+ ear wings
  • Quick charge feature: 8.5 hours of music playing time from only a two-hour charge
  • Active noise cancellation cancels ambient noise by up to 95 percent
  • IPX4 sweat and splash-resistant
  • Memory Flex neckband: sleek, no-slip design
  • Full inline controls: for convenient, wireless music and calls
  • Multipoint connection: connects any two Bluetooth-enabled devices simultaneously
  • Vibration notifications: signal when a call is being received or when the listener is outside the communication range

What do I like about the Phiaton: CURVE BT 120 NC?

The battery life is the biggest plus for me. My AirPods would last only a few hours on a single charge, but the Phiaton: CURVE BT 120 NC lasts 8 hours and maybe even a little more with constant use. They don’t cut out on phone calls like my AirPods do and people can hear me clearly without having to ask me to pick up my phone.

The Phiaton: CURVE BT 120 NC also gets big marks for comfort. I can wear them all day at work and not feel an ounce of discomfort. Other headphones that are similar to these tend to hurt my ears after a while.

What do I dislike about the Phiaton: CURVE BT 120 NC

My first kvetch here is that the distance is not that great. With my AirPods, I can walk a decent distance away before they start to cut out. These start to cut out a little too soon for my tastes. And because I live in a concrete brick home, they really don’t like it when I leave my phone in my room (less than 50 feet away from my living room). Bluetooth 4.2 technology is supposed to get you 50m, but I think that is in ideal conditions.

My second kvetch is I wouldn’t recommend these for anything more than walking or running. Dancing or other high moving sports? These won’t work for you.

My final kvetch is the cover for the charging port. It doesn’t lock into place and I’ve found myself trying to break it off so it doesn’t stick out while I’m wearing the headphones.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Phiaton CURVE BT 120 NC are my go-to headphones thanks to their quick charging (1 hour of playtime for 5 minutes of charge), length of usage, and comfort features. If you are looking for a new set of headphones, check these out. You can purchase them on Phiaton’s website or on Amazon and they retail for $69.99.
