Not sure what to get dad for Father’s Day but know you want it to be something unique? I have a couple of suggestions brought to you by Crate Joy.

Culture Carton

$16.00 + / month
Culture Carton brings some themed culture into dad’s life every month. They offer three subscription options.

  • Book Club includes one carefully selected book that the guys as Culture Carton feel dad needs in his life.
  • Culture Carton Essential gets you that month’s lifestyle items but no book.
  • Culture Carton Standard gets you the lifestyle items and the handpicked book of the month.

This box is unique because the only hint of what you will get is culture and self-improvement. In a recent box that I received, I was surprised with a summer theme complete with a bottle of hot sauce, sunglasses, shower wipes, the book of the month, and a few other smaller items. My husband may have claimed the hot sauce, but I called dibs on the sunglasses.

Looking at their past boxes that could mean anything from grooming to personal style to writing skills.

Imagine Dad

$19.99 + / month
Imagine Dad is a box that gives dad a little quality time with the younger members of the family. Each month you get a box of supplies to create a keepsake book centered on a certain theme. The box itself is great because it’s designed for you to color it yourself.

What I like about this box is that its gender neutral. And while the title might be “Imagine Dad” it’s also something you could order your child to do themselves. The fill in the blank storybooks makes it an easy rainy day project.

The box is always gender neutral and aimed at ages three to seven years old.
