DC Comics Launches New YouTube Series Just for Kids

DC Comics is embracing its youngest fans with a new YouTube channel with kid-friendly content. DC Kids launched this month with a new original series featuring kid hosts talking about all things DC.

It’s obvious that the new channel knows what kids like to watch with YouTube, with the first two episodes featuring a LEGO Batman set unboxing and a Let’s Play of the new runner app Justice League Action: Run. The high-quality videos are quick-paced for kids’ attention spans, but pack a lot of their favorite super heroes in each episode.

DC Comics has a lot planned for the new series:

DC Kids provides family-friendly content geared toward young Super Hero fans! The YouTube original series will include fan-favorites such as DC Super Hero GirlsTeen Titans GO!, and Justice League Action, as well as interviews from the red carpet, exclusive access to San Diego Comic-Con, behind-the-scenes at Warner Bros. Animation, and even grand openings of DC theme park rides and attractions. Episodes will also feature unboxings and demos of the latest DC toys and products, as well as Super Hero-themed DIY crafts, hacks, activities, and even challenges that will let viewers get in on all the fun.

In the DC Kids channel itself, you and the kids can also find Teen Titans GO! clips and compilations, episodes of Batman Unlimited, and even more obscure DC Comics characters and cartoons like Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld and Metal Men.

Check the DC Kids channel weekly for new episodes and age-appropriate content for the youngest fans of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and all of your other favorite DC Comics heroes.
