IncrediBuilds 3-D Wooden Puzzle Kit Review

GeekMom Reviews

This summer, my son will likely want to spend all of his time on his laptop. I don’t blame him because he has some fun games. When we are able to pry him off, though, he, of course, wants something to do. Insight Editions has come out with a fun solution with their wooden models.

For my model, I chose the Great White Shark. It looked like a fun starter version that would give me a handle on how the product worked.

As you can see in the video above, the actual putting together of the model doesn’t take long. The instructions are easy to follow and I only had a few mistakes I had to undo. The wooden pieces came out easily and without fear of a splinter ruining my fun.

If you are the design type, the 3mm natural wooden pieces are easy to paint and decorate to your heart’s content before building. I chose to leave mine the natural wooden color for this review, but my next puzzle (and I’m addicted now so there will be more) will be more decorative and show off my personality.

After I was done with my video and I let the shark hang out for a bit, my son picked up the remaining pieces and built the baby shark. It was nice to see him interested without us pointing it out to him. It didn’t take him long at all to put the baby together and he was happy with the end result.

If you are looking for a design project for your child this summer, I highly recommend you check ou the series of 3D wooden puzzles by Insight Editions. Check out their website for a complete list of available models including R2-D2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain America, dinosaurs, and much more.
