When you’re renting and aren’t supposed to put a lot of holes in your walls, or if you can’t afford to frame a lot of art, wall clings are a great option to personalize rooms. There are so many different kinds available that any web search of “wall clings” will net you hundreds or options.

For fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Turtle wall clings are available. (And if the Turtles aren’t your favorite, wall clings are available in a wide variety of themes.) I only had one previous experience with wall clings, and those had slightly complicated instructions. So I was very pleased when the Turtles came with directions that said, and I’m paraphrasing: Peel and stick onto any clean and dry wall surface. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Or was it?

Yes, it was just that easy. We carefully peeled the clings off their backing, arranged them on the wall, pressed them down, and that was it. They smelled strongly of vinyl at first, but that dissipated quickly. The clings have a clear background, so they will look great on any color wall. It is recommend to not adhere them to any newly painted or wallpapered wall, however.

In this pack, the clings are relatively small, ranging from 1.3″ x 1.9″ to 9″ x 8″. There are 30 of them, however, so they can still cover a large area.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wall clings retail for $14.49, a bargain for the number of clings you receive, and the re-usability of them. They are high quality, and go on very smoothly. They reposition easily and successfully, so you (or your kids) can redecorate at will. I recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to decorate a wall.

Note: I received a sample pack of wall clings for review purposes.
