  1. The dad in this household will be traveling for work this summer and would love the note for entertainment as well as talking via Skype with his daughters. He’s already integrated into the Android sphere, so this would be great.

  2. I bought the original Galaxy Note last summer to my husband’s chagrin. Such an expensive phone he thought. Well being the wonderful gadget-gamer-geek that he is he set it up for me. Well, who’d a thought he’d love it so much! He knows more about than I do lol! I love my phone and I know this well deserving Husband, Step-dad and Dad of 3 would love his own. In December I broke my ankle and have been housebound and tied the couch for months recovering slowly. My husband has had to do all my usual stuff, plus his job, take care of the kids & his usual stuff around the house. It hasn’t been easy but he’s done it with a smile (most times lol) and said not for me to worry. This would be a perfect Father’s Day gift and thank you for all he’s done and will always do for us.

  3. I’d give it to my dad, because touch screens confuse him, and a stylus might make things.easier. 🙂

  4. On top of being a community builder and great to talk to, our Jim is great about gamifying life’s challenges. Although he’s a tech geek by profession (and avocation), he rarely gets leading edge technology at home because we’re a single-income family.

Not only would he love the drawing and note-taking capabilities of the Note, he could import the grocery list (he takes all three of our kids grocery shopping each week) and take even better photos of our kids and his community gaming events.

  5. My dad is always keeping us updated on the newest tech and helping us to work it. My mom is about to have a baby and it would be so amazing to be able to give him his own piece of new, fancy tech to help him get some relief from the new baby. I would love to give this to my dad as a thank you for caring and as a savior when he needs it most.

  6. The Dad in our house is an active duty soldier that travels extensively for work and is also going to school full time to become an elementary school teacher when he retires next summer. He’s a geeky gamer Dad and never buys himself the latest and greatest gadgets, saving that for his girls.

  7. The Dad of this house works hard running his small business, being the jungle gym, squasher of spiders, finder of favorite stuffed animals, and king of story time. He has 3 little girls who are the center of his world and he’s the center of their world. You’ll never see a smile as big as his then when he comes home and 3 little girls are shrieking “DADDY’S HOME!”.

  8. The “Dad” in our house isn’t a dad. It’s my sons’ uncle, Wil (real dad’s brother). He stepped in when dad went into hiding and is always there for us when we need him. He lives close and comes over and plays games. He backs me up when chores are not being done and makes sure the kids are in bed on Sunday night so we can watch Game of Thrones. He’s become my best friend in this rough point in our lives and is helping my oldest get through being a teenager who needs someone to look up to. Uncle Wil is a scientist and has many discussion with my oldest son about chemistry. He also engages my youngest, autistic son, with fun movies and listens to his long stories about his favorite shows. He is a good example of what a father can be.

  9. My husband could really use this Galaxy Note! As an aspiring director, cinematographer, and producer he would be able to organize schedules, review footage, plan shoots, have meetings on the go, and so much more. Also as a comic book writer he could more easily write scripts on the go. Another reason is we have 4 kids we need to keep in touch with add we are on the go following our dream career paths. And another reason, his dad is in poor health and a Galaxy Note would make Google Hangouts with family members out of state, a lot easier. AND he is always doing things for us and the kids and I know that this would make him very happy.

  10. I believe my husband should win the samsung galaxy 8 because he is a hard working man who gives all he has to others but never gets anything nice for himself or asks for anything in return. We cannot afford something like this and I know it would really make his fathers day more special to know he would be giving such an awesome device.

    Sincerly
    B

  11. My dad could really use this because he’s super obssessive about his schedule, keeps track of all sorts of tax-related info for deductions, and likes to have everything very organized. This would be a big help to him.

  12. The Geek Dad in my house could use this! My hubby is one of those who can never have enough gadgets, and he’s been itching for a new tablet. With a new baby due 2 days before Father’s Day, I could use any help I can get with an awesome Father’s Day gift (and FREE gadgetry!).

  13. The dad in my life–my husband–would never buy himself a tablet. He’s still using a 6-year-old flip phone with a battery that doesn’t hold a charge. He just isn’t the kind of dude to go out and buy new technology. But neither is he a technophobe, and if something like this came into his life, he’d learn to use it pretty quickly, and would have a lot of fun with it. And I might borrow it, now and then, too, perhaps.

  14. My husband is an amazing Dad! He is always on the road working it would be a great tool to help keep intouch with the kids when he is out and about! This would be so great!

  15. The dad in my life is the father of my children. He is an amazing father. With two of his three children disabled, he needs this Samsung to keep track of the appointments, therapies, and the bills. He is a hard-working dad that could use such a helpmate!

  16. My husband needs a tablet because he works hard so that I can stay at home with our daughter (who has co-opted our first gen Kindle Fire for herself).

  17. Mine has just discovered the beauty of shared Google calendars, which is almost a necessity with newborn twins and a 2 year old toddler! We’ll get him to join the cool android kids little by little, he won’t even know what hit him!

  18. My sweetie could use it because his gadgets keep *mysteriously* disappearing into the kids’ rooms never to be seen again until they need the charger. 🙂

  19. My husband (the father of our child) needs this tablet so there are the same number of tablets as adults in our household. 😉 Sometimes we both want to use our current tablet at the same time….

  20. My husband always gets second shift in the electronics department because for some reason I always “need” the new shiny things to homeschool the kids. So this Father’s Day I think the hubs deserves the new and shiny!!

  21. My Dad is a 7th Grade Math Teacher, and he could use it… to play Games on while appearing to be grading tests. …yes, i said it!

  22. My Dad would really love this tablet! He’s lost almost all the sight in one eye so a screen larger than his phone would be great for him! Thanks for the great giveaway.

  23. My husband needs a tablet to make it easier for him to switch between office/lab/working from home.

  24. The Dad in our life needs one because he only has an outdated blackberry. Poor guy.

  25. Because the rest of the electronics have been appropriated by the women of the house. My wife claimed my macbook pro to write her master’s thesis, my 13 yr old home-schooled daughter claimed the galaxy tab to manager her Etsy business and her YouTube channel and my 9 yr old daughter claimed the old mac to play Minecraft and CodeSpells.

  26. The GeekDad in my house would love this as a Father’s Day gift! He works teaching High School students about technology so not only could he use it at work but he can use it when working with our son on all of the amazing educational apps available! What an awesome give away!

  27. We have 5 kids who hog both the kindle fire we splurged on as a famiy Christmas gift. It would be great to give my husband his own device.

  28. Where to begin? My husband is still using a flip-open, put your antennae up Samsung phone from many moons ago! He is on the road 40+ hours a week and he deserves it – he is a fantastic Dad to his 2 sons and is setting a great example of work ethic for them. He would appreciate it!!!!!!

  29. The Dad in our house needs an Android because we all need to keep track of each other. Great communication is the key to great relationships.

  30. Steve puts his 3 kids and me first for everything. I always tell him he needs to get something for himself. As most guys he loves to play board games, video games and computer games. I’d love for the kids to be able to give this to him for Father’s day and know it is his and not anyone of the kids’. The Ipod he lost to our youngest, computer is used for homework and xbox is taken over be our middle one.
Thanks for putting on an awesome contest!!

  31. My Husband still doesn’t even have a cell phone. He uses a beeper, for gosh sakes. This will let him jump into the 21st century

  32. The Dad in my life is my husband. He deserves the Samsung Galaxy Note because he doesn’t currently have a phone and I think he needs one in case of emergencies while out working.

  33. I would love love love this phone!!! My Thunderbolt is starting to lag with new apps. It’s so sad and awesome how fast awesome tech can become a dinosaur. ;D

  34. My husband would love this because he loves all new toys and gadgets. Plus if he has this, maybe he’ll cough up the Android pad so I can use it every now and then.

  35. My hubby – and dad to my children works really hard to make sure that we as a family have everything we need often putting himself last when he needs something – and he cooks, cleans etc due to my work schedule and never complains! A tablet would be a wonderful gift for him! 🙂

  36. This dad needs a Note, as his 3 daughters have almost completely taken over his Nexus 7 with My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop games. Not that he plays them when their not around, no never. 😉

  37. My husband needs this for father’s day to remind him how he didn’t get me anything for Mother’s day. 😉

  38. My husband (who will be a father soon!) is still using a Motorola Razr and is on the road all the time. He’s been dying for a smartphone!

  39. I would be “Mother of the Year” and “Wife of the Year” with this new Samsung. Not only would my husband upgrade big time, but 10 year old son would get the hand me down first cell flip phone. Two birds with one stone.

  40. Because my dad has a Blackberry playbook and has never gotten it working correctly. He is not a techie but purchased it because he had a blackberry phone. He needs this to see the great capabilities of Android and how easy it can be.

  41. My dad is awesome! He isn’t so great with gadgets but he loves technology and loves to learn about them. I love to show him new devices (last year he got his first smartphone). He always gets so excited and loves to integrate his new technology with his theater room and the Galaxy note with its rf receiver would be perfect. He will get that super excited look on his face when he sees it. I love my dad 🙂

  42. Our dad needs a good reliable calendar, this would be perfect!

  43. Because my dad is the only one in the family who has an iPhone and he needs to convert to Samsung products like the rest of us.

  44. My Geek Dad hubby may work from home, which sounds like he gets to spend a ton of time with his little geeks (and he does, comparatively) but that also means he needs to be slightly more organized – and he sucks at that. The 8 would help tremendously when scheduling out of home/office work appts around the t-ball, soccer, lego parties and field trips to the science center and amusement parks.

  45. My husband needs a new tablet because our son has taken over the one he (the dad) had bought for himself.

  46. Quite frankly, any tool that will help my hubby get more organized will be welcome in this house! Plus he’s a sucker for gadgets and would LOVE this.

  47. My dad is making the nearly 6,000 mile journey from California to give me away at my wedding in England later this year. He’s never left the country before! At nearly 60 years old he and my mom got their very first passports! I’m so proud of them! I’m about to move out of the family home in California and a Galaxy Note 8 would help them span the distance to keep in touch with me as I start my new life in the UK.

    Thank you!

  48. My dad needs it for his business. 35+ plus years as the head groundskeeper for a private estate and he will be retired to his 8 grandchildren next year. Got to keep up with the grandkids and new technology. The 8 would help tremendously when scheduling out of home/work appts around the football, lacrosse, lego parties and field trips to the science center and amusement parks.

  49. I can only be my husbands personal assistant/organizer for so long. It’s time I leave it up to technology. Plus did I mention he is the BEST soldier, husband and father I know. He deserves nothing but the best! <3

  50. My dad spend most of his time at home, or in his wheelchair, connected to the world through the Web. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would help him better stand up for the apostrophe. –Preston

  51. I think the note would be perfect for my husband because of it’s larger screen. He has trouble with my android phone, but the note would be better for him (IMO).

  52. My hubby has been so sweet, waiting on getting new tech when it becomes more affordable so we don’t destroy our budget for our family. This is a huge change from his earlier years, when he always had the coolest and best computer and tech stuff in his family. His sacrifice for our family means he usually has the oldest tech now. For putting his desires aside for the interest of the family, he would be the happy recipient of this gift! (My email is zontziry(at)gmail)

  53. I bought a nexus 7 with the idea that we’d all share it, you know with the the jellybean mutliple account feature. My husband, the only man in a house with 3 girls, never gets to use it. I’d love to get him his own boy’s only tablet!

  54. I would love to be able to surprise my husband with this gift! His kids live across the country for most of the year with their mom and it’s so hard on him to miss them so much all the time. This phone would be a great big step in being able to keep in touch with them easier in between visits!

  55. Cora’s dad deserves this because he’s been doing an amazing job of reading to her, and books are among her favorite things. He could use this to keep up with digital subscriptions of his own magazines.

  56. It’s been one of those months…the iPhone is acting up (he’s still an iPhone fan…he must see the light), the laptop battery is down to lasting mere minutes, his car got a flat tire on Friday, the A/C stopped working and will probably need to be replaced, and his furlough days are expected to start soon (so he’ll have extra time to get used to Android!).

  57. My father was a auto mechanic. He would love to get his hand with this tablet this year!

  58. My husband needs the Note so he can write down story ideas quickly (with the stylus) and because he is a great dad who deserves a new toy!

  59. Because I like hearing the sound of his voice; it would bring him closer to me

  60. Oh boy! The dad in this house is exhausted with refereeing tablet/phone time between mom and kids! He would love this!

  61. My dad needs a note so he can work without having to carry around his block of a laptop everywhere. He always sacrifices so much for me and my family so i think he deserves something in return 🙂 love you dad <3

  62. My dad needs it because he is an awesome geek and he and I like to keep up with the newest, coolest thing 🙂 Thanks for the chance 🙂

  63. My Dad thinks tablets are the coolest thing ever invented. He’s still using an old school PC desktop ! HELP MY DAD UPGRADE! Thanks :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  64. My dad would definitely benefit from a Galaxy Note 8. He’s a serious wood hobbyest, but he hasn’t yet stretched his access to woodworking websites into his workshop.
    Thank you for this opportunity.

  65. It would be cool to get him a new tech toy, hopefully this can get him away from his ipad

  66. The Dad in my household needs this because in he past 1.5 years he has had to make many changes in his life to help care for his family. His own father died after an almost year long battle with heart problems, then moved his entire family in to help care for his mother who was shortly thereafter diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. In addition to working & taking care of the house he is helping to raise 2 beautiful children, helping to teach his Kindergartner daughter to read (who is already reading at a grade 2 level!!) while still trying to find time for himself to keep up with his personal interests in reading, blogging, redditing & board gaming with his friends. He goes above and beyond what a Dad is asked to do to make sure his kids have nothing but the best lives they can have. Having this would help him to keep up to date with some of the latest technology and his personal interests for a little ‘Daddy time’

  67. He would love having a “toy” that the kids wouldn’t be allowed to touch. They’re already co-opted every gaming console in the house and even his handhelds.

  68. My dad is the person got me interested in technology when I was little kid, around 5 years old. He was the one that bought me my first computer, a Tandy 1000 from RadioShack and we played games like Space Quest and King’s Quest off floppy disks….the big floppy kind! Its because of him why I love technology and gadgets, so it would be awesome if I could win this Galaxy Note for him.

  69. Hubby works hard and studies hard, yet he finds time to give to the kid in our town through Little League. Over the last several years he’s devoted himself to give the children of our community a chance to learn teamwork, good sportsmanship and gain confidence through having fun.

  70. My husband is more than a husband. He jumped head first into fatherhood eleven years ago with a grin and a never quit attitude. Our older child has had some struggles, he never gives up. NOW we are “new-again” parents, and he’s taken to that like a fish to water. However, he forgets things. LOTS of things. Having a place for him to jot down notes AND sync up with me would make an AMAZING Father’s Day gift… AND help him keep up with our family AND his friends, so that he is living a balanced life!

  71. My dad is 86 and would really be helped if he had a tablet that has a stylus like the Note 8. He has a Touch that he got 4 years ago but it is too small to use now.

  72. My husband would love to have a tablet so he could use the ladybug mag app with his daughters. And so he could keep up on the latest posts from geekdad.(Thanks to him, I found the geekmom site and love it.)

  73. My dad would benefit from this so much! He works in construction and being able to use the s-note feature would be amazing!

  74. My father doesn’t do ‘gadgets’ but I’d gladly give this to my husband who is the father of our one wonderful kiddo. He’d finally be thrust into this century and have to give up his non-smart phone. And he could then play games with me!

  75. My husband has been travelling a lot lately for work so this would really come in handy. My son would get such a kick out of giving him this for Father’s Day!

  76. The dad in my household needs to stay current in the latest available technologies.

  77. The dad around these parts, my hubs, just started commuting an hour to work each way. A Samsung Tablet would be perfect for him to read or surf on the way.

  78. My husband wouldn’t mind having this to take with him to work and on business (so I can keep our Nexus 10 at home!)

  79. This would be a gift for my husband. He is a high school science teacher and works so hard. He goes above and beyond at his school and tries really hard to help all of his students succeed. It has been a tough year because our son started school and my husband feels guilty that he doesn’t have more time to spend with him. He is such a great daddy, though! 🙂 My husband doesn’t really need a tablet, but it would be a great surprise for such a hardworking and loving man. Plus he is turning 40 a few days before Father’s Day, so it would be an added bonus! 🙂 Such a great giveaway, thanks for a chance to win!

  80. My Dad is a very active computer tech at the ripe old age of 74. He was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, and it is a trying time for all of us. He would love a tablet, but it just hasn’t been in his budget as of late.

  81. My husband needs one because he works in the computer field and with this device he can get work related things done more efficiently while he’s out with us. He just became a second time dad and he loves being home with his kids.

  82. A Dad needs a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for his work in the hospital, to have instead of many small booklets one gadget in his hospital clothing to look things up and to take notes for the day

  83. He’s a stay at home dad who’s a gadget geek and loves games. More importantly, he loves teaching the kiddo through games. Mommy has her tablet, but it’s not around during the day for them to play with. Would love for him to get his own.

  84. Would love this for my hubby. He is still using an old non-smart phone because he doesn’t like the touchscreens. This pen would let him become a user of the new stuff and get hooked on the data like I am.

  85. Heh, I’m the dad. I would love to win this as I have been looking at tablets to take notes on at school. On a positive note, if I did win this then money I have set aside would go towards buying the wife a matching tablet. As it is right now, I was planning on buying a pair of lesser Samsung tablets with the money without telling her and surprising her.

  86. I’ve read a few of the comments and every Dad and granpa and uncle out there sounds so wonderful, I wish y’all the best of luck.

I’ll tell you about Daddy, my husband. This would be for him. He’ll be turning 40 this year and when we were just shy of 24 or 25 (I forget which, it’s been so long), he moved us to this little tech city at the height of the tech boom. For close to 15 years now, he’s survived layoff after layoff in the same big tech firm by keeping his head to the ground and working hard for his managers. Think a crew of 15 down to 3, then recently, 2 — for a giant campus of over 5,000 systems (my best guess.. I quit trying to keep up with their acquisitions). He’s a silent man, and aside from the one patent he has hidden away somewhere under his belt, no one would know he has brilliant ideas. He’s a writer who jots in a notebook every night, but the sheer fatigue of his work won’t allow him to carve that time out for himself. I think this would help motivate him, seeing this is for him and only him, and that he is worth something so nice. He should begin to give himself time again, to enjoy, to create, to innovate. To take back a part of himself that he has given to so many people over the years.

His method for survival all these years is to keep us — his family — in the forefront of his mind like a little carrot. Sometimes, he’s conflicted because of the increased weight of his work and has, for so many years, wanted to move on, but he loves his clients .. and then this can never happen with a mortgage, a family to feed and Mom unable to land good work. As parents living in a hard economy, we have all sacrificed so much over the years, but I would say he was sacrificed the most of both of us — because all this time, he’s put himself last place. New clothes, new shoes and kewl stuff is few and far between for him — he gets to buy a cool pair of leather Keens for his monstrous feet on average once every 2 years when they wear out– and he puts up with Mom’s shoddy haircuts (mine). When it comes to tech, he says he likes his old, beat up Blackberry. But I suspect this more out of learning be detached, Zen-like, from things he knows we can’t have, can’t afford, or don’t have the luxury of playing with. I don’t know how he puts up with it .. you know, people must give him looks at work or freak out because, you know, he’s got this old thing with a cracked screen whose window-frame is gone. I think he justifies it by never using it in front of people — he works so hard and is always on the go on campus .. and then I know the type of person he is: He will give you his undivided attention, assess, talk, and take care of your needs before he thinks about pulling that thing out of his pocket, no matter how long it vibrates. (and, yes, it’s always on vibrate .. can’t nag him out of it!)

He’s a dedicated, good man. Just like all the good, selfless, hard-working men here who are loved by the women who posted for him.

You know.. now that I think about it.. if you pick Daddy, I know he would want you to pass it on to someone else.. and that someone else would be a soldier.

We heard about the events in England yesterday and what befell a certain soldier .. and although we’ve been living under this shadow of bad stuff in the world for so long, you’d think we’re used to it .. yesterday, I saw my husband blink, reassess, and somewhere in his mind and soul, fear for his family, and for all the men out there who may one day have to defend our families and their nations.

Daddy would say give it to a soldier on his behalf. You would make him very happy if you did. That’s the kind of guy he is.

Thank you for the opp for me to write and reflect on what a special man I have in my life. 🙂

  87. My father would love this! It would be fun for him and help keep him organized. He deserves it for the simple reason that he’s a great dad! 🙂

  88. This would be a great gift for my father as he needs to upgrade his mobile technologies to keep up with the world. It would also help me keep in touch with him.

  89. The dad here has a very old feature phone that can barely send a text. This would be a significant upgrade and much appreciated and used.

  90. My dad has an old ipod, and no cell phone. While he does love his iPod, I think he could use an upgrade to bring him back in line with the rest of us!!!

  91. My husband would love this for various reasons. As a teacher, and as the person who does so many things in our home, this would be great for his productivity!

  92. My father is not the most tech savvy person, nevertheless, with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 I can help to show him how to work it exactly. This will be a great benefit for him because he is trying to run a Lawn Service buisness and the Note will help him to stay organized. My father would appreciate this greatly.

  93. I believe my dad would love to have a super smartphone as a Galaxy Note because it would help him at his work as a doctor: if he needs to take some data from internet, he has to reach the computer center, and I’ve hear he is not really into it (but has to do it anyways), so i think he would definetly appriciate to have this divece that is almost a mini-computer (and do his patients would too) 🙂

  94. My dad needs to have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 because he is already un-employed and just helping in all the household chores but despite of this he is still looking for a way to make her daughter happy and buy the new samsung galaxy note 8.0 and he believes that Geekmom can help him to have this, her daughter’s fulfillment of dreams will be also his fulfillment. Her daughter’s happiness is his happiness also. It is showing the unconditional love of a father to his only daughter. 🙂

  95. My dad is one who not having any bigger wish. so much hard worker he won’t buy any good things which he likes. But he wish to give his best when some one asked means. So much lovable but he don’t know how to express with us.. He is using my mobile which is used last and bought n gave new mobile to me instead of him.. So i need to present this Galaxy Note 8 to my dad to make him happy that i can give..

  96. My dad is always sitting uncomfortably with his laptop in the living room doing random things that need to get done. This device will make things all so much easier for his, and what better time than Father’s day!

  97. This is so great! My father has been an amazing role model to me and the epitome of the immigrant American dream. He came to the U.S, has been through so many hardships, yet we’ve had everything we’ve ever wanted, and more. He is not very computer savvy, but android devices and tablets are the right mix of productivity and toy haha, and I know he would love it to check his email, and random information, as well as the baseball games, and what not. GL everyone!

  98. My dad would love this because he has the oldest computer in the world and having this would make his life 10 times easier!

  99. The company moved to a new building so he just started taking the bus to work. (The old place wasn’t near bus lines.) It’s 40 minutes each way on the bus so this would let him connect, design, learn and read instead of just read library books. He also runs a website for our school soccer team so he has to edit hundreds of game photos in the spring and summer. I’d rather that get done on the bus than late at night after everyone goes to bed.

  100. Well, quite frankly, my father is stuck in the stone age when it comes to electronics. He still uses a Sega to play video games and has never used a computer at the age of 64. He records TV shows with a VCR and blank VHS tape and still uses a pay phone instead of buying a normal cell phone lol. On this fathers day, I would like to surprise him with something ” futuristic ” in his own words and teach him how to finally enter the real world of electronics. Can you imagine trying to teach your father how to actually use a tablet? The bonding time, fun, and thought of that alone is enough for me to attempt to win this great prize for my great father! =] Thanks.

  101. My father used to love to read, but has a hard time holding up his heavy books. A small tablet such as this would help him to continue his hobby and might even get him to start emailing his us!

  102. My husband could use this because our 3 kiddos are constantly stealing his phone to play games, and he is too sweet to take their fun away.

  103. I never met my father but he left behind a piece of himself in his drawings and poetry. I have yet to attain his skill but I try and such a device would be a tremendous help.

  104. The dad in my life is a wonderful husband and great dad to 2 little boys. He loves technology and loves to teach others how to use it. He does not have anything with the android os, yet. This would be perfect for him to learn their system!

  105. My dad is actually my son-in-law. He’s got two kids, a girl and a boy. He’s in Afghanistan now, and just received a promotion. I think it would be a nice promotion gift, and a sweet Father’s Day surprise. He likes to read stories to his kids, and I think this would be a marvelous way for them to all stay in touch. The Army can be a difficult life for a young family, and he won’t be home until just before Christmas. He misses a lot as his kids grow up while he’s away. His daughter will graduate from pre-kindergarten this week, and he can’t be there to attend, but maybe this will help them all stay in contact.

  106. This would be my Dads first smartphone. I would love to teach him how to use one and be able to have face to face call with him. I can see him having a great time playing with all the great app. the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has for.
And most importantly he would have bragging rights that he owns a better smartphone than his son. 🙂

  107. my dad deserves this because he is still stuck with apple. If he knew what the note line of products could really do he wouldn’t always default to apple

  108. (Looks like my 1st post didn’t take.)

My Dad would love a Galaxy Note because of the video chat and all the Android apps. This would be his first tablet and it would fun to teach him how to use it.

  109. My husband could really use this instead of carrying around a laptop for work.
