Aimed at junior high and high school students, it gives an overview of these aspects, whetting the appetite to learn more. Using analogies from fairy tales, Mr. Kubica inspires readers to take in each concept and then extend their learning on their own. Don’t Sit Up Straight: Why a Natural Posture May Be Better

I come from a family of slouchers and after a typical day at the computer I have ample reason to worry I’ll develop the dowager’s hump my grandmother had by the time she was in her late 50’s. Worse, my husband suffers from an increasingly painful back after a bad car accident.

Star Trek Week: Away Mission Orlando – May the Force Be With Me

Beam me down Scotty! It’s time for Vulcan Events: Away Mission Orlando. Happening in Orlando on October 5th thru the 7th, this is an interesting convention to say the least. Unlike at Megacon where you fight your way through the halls and into panels, Away Mission Orlando is a more casual sci-fi convention. With mostly Star Trek celebrities in attendance, this convention is a must see if you are a Trek fan and in the Orlando area.
